Graduate Nurse Program

Wakefield Region offers a Graduate Nurse program to provide new graduates with the opportunity to gain experience in a diversity of settings across a broad clinical perspective.

These include Medical & Surgical Nursing, Accident & Emergency, Operating Theatre, Midwifery, Aged Care and Community health. The program is of 12 months' duration and is supported by a formal network between the associated health units and a study program from the Regional Staff Development Coordinator.
